How does the insurance claim process work?

1. Get Your Roof Inspected

Gunn Roofing offers free roof inspections to homeowners because we believe that every homeowner deserves a throurough inspection on  the condition of their roof so they can make informed decisions on what they need to do to fix their roof.

2. Contact Insurance Agency

Next you will need to call your insurance agency and file a claim. They will give you a claim number to give to us so we can get in contact with your insurance adjustor and begin working on the assessment of damages to your property. During this part of the process, we will work together with you and your adjustor to determine the amount of costs your insurance company will cover under your homeowner's policy. 

3. Perform the Repair or Replacement of Your Roof

Once your claim has been approved we can begin the process of repairing your roof. We will work with you to set up a time to complete the repairs/replacement of your roof. You can stay at home while we work, or you can leave the house and let us work while you are away. We usually finish roof repairs or roof replacement in one day. That can change depending on the size of your home or business of course. 

4. Project Completed

Once we finish the repair or replacement of your roof, our team will perform another inspection of your roofing system to ensure that repairs were properly completed, and we will consult with the homeowner on the repairs, to ensure that you are completely satisfied with our work.
